Resurge Children East Africa (RCEA), founded in 2015 and based in Kisumu, Kenya, is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to advancing equitable, high-quality education and healthcare. We believe that every child and young person has the right to learn, lead healthy lives, and achieve their full potential, regardless of background.
2. Purpose of this Policy

This policy provides a framework for how RCEA operates and governs its programmes across education and healthcare. It sets out our principles, commitments, and standards to ensure accountability, transparency, and integrity in all areas of our work.

4. Areas of Policy Commitment
a. Education Programmes

Provide professional learning to builds teachers’ knowledge and skills to design, implement, and sustain effective professional learning within schools.

Support schools to create better literacy outcomes for all children

Provide essential learning resources and create culturally relevant story books

Award transformative university scholarships to exceptional, disadvantaged students.
b. Healthcare Programmes

Deliver and support life-changing surgical care for children from low-income families.

Strengthen the capacity of healthcare professionals through training programmes.
c. Child Protection and Safeguarding

Zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, or neglect.

Staff and volunteers must follow the Child Protection Policy (to be annexed).

Mandatory reporting of all safeguarding concerns.
d. Financial Management
